When a buyer of a commercial or multi-family property is unaware of problems with the structure or various systems of that property they can be in a for big surprise ? one that can cost them thousands of dollars. Getting a thorough commercial real estate inspection before finalizing a commercial property purchase is the best way to avoid these costly surprises and to have a better understanding of what potential future costs there may be. Checking the roof, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and structure along with other systems via a properly done commercial real estate inspection should be the minimal due diligence any commercial property buyer does in relation to the condition of the property before buying.
