In Wilson County, Tennessee the statistics are showing that yes, we are in a recovery mode for new construction but that foreclosures are still occurring and setting records. ?2012 was the worst year for properties being lost to foreclosure sales since I began as a real estate licensee. ?Comparing 2010, 2011 and 2012 it appears we are still in the middle of the wave of foreclosures.
Most people think that 2010 was the worst year with a total of 241 foreclosure deeds being recorded. ?The real story is the 2012 has proven that thinking wrong. ?Checking filings at the Wilson County Register of Deeds Office, will show that in 2012 there were 251 foreclosure deeds recorded. ?Although the increase was single digit, it shows that the housing crisis isn?t over for existing homeowners.

Juliet, new construction is booming again. ?New subdivision developments have been proposed and existing inventory is down in various price ranges.
Reviewing the data tells me that disparity is prevalent in our market.
